In a world that moves so fast, with technology at your fingertips. What do you do on a consistent basis that reduces stress factors? Do you find yourself saying "I wish I had more time?" Have you tried to incorporate a routine and then lose sight or give up? Well if you answered yes to any of these, know you are not alone! Change is constant. I know, I know you've heard it all before. I am not here to tell you what you're doing wrong. I'm just going to assist you in all that you are doing right. Begin adding small positives in your daily routine. Here are just a few examples:

  • Meditate - I know you don't have time to sit still, clear your mind or focus on your breath. All the more reason to begin and then begin again. Try just 5 minutes, but try that 5 minutes everyday at the same time of the day. I promise you will begin to love precious time you set aside.

  • Wake up a 1/2 hour before you normally would. (yes maybe that means go to sleep earlier)

  • Do Yoga - it doesn't have to be an entire flow, start small with some simple stretching and pranayama (breathing practice)

  • Stay in the present moment - I'm not saying don't plan for the future but don't put emphasis on the outcome before you are in that moment.

  • Get outside and breathe in fresh air. Take your shoes off and connect with the earth.
